Micro Linux

Micro Linux for one 3.5" 1.44MB floppy diskette
(Rewritten HAL for own purpose ...)
Contains basic software for networking:
  • telnet - for connecting to remote server
  • ftp - for downloading files (what else would it be, indeed)
  • ssh (version 1.0) - Secure Shell, for secure connections
  • bootp - for set up in networks, which support this service

    Network cards supported by this version are: 3com509, SMC-Ultra, NE*(compatible) SMC9194 and WD (it is possible to download drivers for other NIC as a module)
    Micro Linux has also built in support of PLIP for connection via parallel port.
    It contains basic file editor as well (ELVIS).
    Minimum system requirements: 386SX, 4MB RAM, 1.44MB floppy drive(it is possible to boot from HD)
